Terms of Use & License Agreement

Sticky is a social platform and creation tool available as an app, on the web, and across other social media platforms.

Before using Sticky, making purchases, creating content, or submitting content, please carefully read these Terms of Use & License Agreement, the Sticky Privacy Policy, and the Sticky Guidelines. By continuing, you confirm you have read and agree to these documents.

Content & Conduct

  • You are granted a personal, revocable, non-assignable, non-sublicensable, and non-exclusive limited license to use Sticky.
  • Users must be at least 13 years old to use Sticky. Those aged 13 to 17 may use Sticky only with parental or guardian supervision and approval. Users under 13 are prohibited. To report underage users, use the in-app flagging features.
  • To report objectionable content, copyright violations, or abuse, please use the in-app flagging features. We aim to respond within 24 hours.
  • Prohibited conduct includes:a) Publishing content that violates Sticky Guidelines (criminal, hateful, harmful content, plagiarism, copyright infringement, pornography, gambling, illicit drugs, or violating platform policies).b) Offensive behavior towards the Sticky team or users.c) Fraudulent activities such as fake users, hacking, scams, or inappropriate offerings.
  • Misconduct may lead to content removal, account ejection, loss of virtual items, and ineligibility for revenue sharing without prior warning.

Purchases on Sticky

  • Users can buy virtual content, services, and items.
  • Prices vary by item, country, purchase channel, and time; always check prices at purchase.
  • Purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by law. Refund requests are monitored to prevent fraud.
  • Virtual items (coins, collectibles, NFTs) are for use only, not investments or cash equivalents. Their availability and value may change or be removed without notice.
  • Sticky may offer a marketplace for virtual item exchanges at its discretion.
  • Purchases must be made through Sticky's mechanisms unless items are registered on external networks.
  • For iOS in-app purchases, payments are charged via iTunes; contact Apple for errors.

Third-Party Content

  • Users may access and purchase third-party content on Sticky.
  • Refer to third-party terms for related issues; Sticky is not responsible for third-party content or sales.
  • Report inappropriate third-party conduct via in-app flagging.

Content Submissions

  • Creators can submit various content types for publication.
  • Content can be free or exchanged for virtual items; submitters must have all necessary rights.
  • Sticky decides content prominence and may review or reject submissions.
  • Inappropriate content is handled seriously.
  • Submission may require a review fee, which is non-refundable.
  • Creators can publish virtual items for use or exchange by others.
  • Sticky is not responsible for third-party misuse of content; report misuse via flagging.
  • By submitting content, creators retain rights but grant Sticky a worldwide, royalty-free license to use and distribute it.

Creator Revenue Sharing

  • Eligible creators may earn revenue sharing, subject to change or cessation.
  • Eligibility requires compliance with terms, privacy policy, guidelines, and specific platform conditions.
  • Revenue sharing relates to user exchanges and engagement, displayed as 'earned coins'.
  • Creators can use earned coins within Sticky or request cash payments, subject to fees and minimums.
  • Virtual coins are not cash and may be altered or removed.
  • Revenue calculations and payments occur periodically.
  • Creators are responsible for taxes on earnings.
  • No employment or partnership is created by these terms.
  • Sticky may contract creators separately with different terms.

Experimental Nature of Sticky

  • Sticky is developed by a small team and includes experimental features like blockchain and AI tools.
  • The platform may have security risks, feature changes, or removals without notice.
  • User involvement in governance is advisory and non-binding.

No Warranty, Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution

  • Sticky is provided "as is" without warranties.
  • Liability is limited to the greater of revenue share from purchased or published content.
  • Users indemnify Sticky against third-party claims arising from their use.
  • Use governed by Cayman Islands law; disputes resolved in Cayman courts.
